"Tolle zentrale Lage, liebevoll eingerichtetes Hotel. Es gibt in der Nähe ein assoziiertes Parkhaus, allerdings werden aus Platzgründen die Autos in ein entfernter gelegenes großes Parkhaus gebracht, so dass sie während des Aufenthaltes nicht zugänglich sind, d.h. alles was man braucht, muss man mit ins Hotelzimmer nehmen und kann nichts im Auto lassen."
"Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The room was very clean and with plenty of comforts that is able to keep aside the not very good state of the furniture that should be changed, although everything was perfect so we were very happy to have chosen this hotel for our stay in Florence. Excellent value for money also and in the city centre and practically at 5 minutes walk from the train station."
"tout était très bien, je reviendrai avec plaisir!"
"Hotel Porta Faenza is located very comfortably close to the main railway station, tram routes and all the major sights. Still, Via Faenza is a narrow street with very little motor traffic and no noisy tourist crowds. My room ("economy") faced the inner yard so it was nice and quiet in the room. The room itself was nice, clean and quite well-equipped, though a bit worn. I especially enjoyed the large fluffy bath towels! At the reservation phase, it was also possible to pre-book some extras, for example a bottle of wine, to be waiting in the room upon arrival, which was nice. The staff was very friendly and spoke good English. I especially enjoyed the abundant and delicious breakfast, which catered for multiple needs and made sure that the hotel guests had enough energy to stroll around the city. As an extra bonus, there were complimentary snacks available in the afternoon in the lobby. A little sandwich and a glass of juice were a true life saver when returning "home" after a busy day of sightseeing and shopping. I can sincerely recommend Hotel Porta Faenza to travellers who are looking for a centrally located cosy and quiet place to return to after an active day."
"The hotel is in an extremely convenient location, especially for train travelers like myself. This became especially apparent to me when I had to return to the hotel to retrieve my wallet that I had forgotten in the room safe when I had checked out 3 days earlier. The hotel staff was extremely helpful in securing and safeguarding my wallet for the few days before I could return to retrieve it. As for accommodations, the room was quiet, even with a window opening to the street, and clean. Breakfast (which was an extra expense) was good, although not the best coffee in Italy."
